Chuck Purgason For U.S. Senate

There are currently 9 candidates in the Republican primary race for Kit Bond's senate seat. All of the candidates are running on somewhat of a limited government platform. Out of these 9, only 2 have an actual voting record. The other 7, say they're for limiting government, but how can you be sure they're not just trying to ride the current wave of public opinion?
So that basically leaves us with two choices - Roy Blunt or Chuck Purgason. I don't want to take too much time to talk about Blunt - if you don't know his record, look him up. He tends to be somewhat conservative leaning, but he has voted to expand government many times. He has also been involved with the Jack Abramoff corruption. He is married to a lobbyist and has two children who are also lobbyists.

Chuck Purgason is currently serving in the Missouri Senate. He advocates the Fair Tax. In the Missouri Senate he has been a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget. He has backed this up with his actions as chairman of the Government Accountability and Oversight Committee by killing any bill that increased government spending. In 2005 he sponsored a bill that resulted in the largest reduction of government spending in Missouri's history. He is a man of principles who believes in hard work and personal responsibility, not a cradle to the grave nanny state. And he has his voting record to back him up.

This is why I am supporting Chuck Purgason for U.S. Senate and why I'd like to ask you to do your research and consider supporting him also.
